Farley Hill National Park sits on one of the highest ridges in St. Peter, giving you one of the most dramatic inland views on the island. When you stand at the lookout facing south‑east or east, you’re essentially looking down into the Scotland District, often referred to locally as “the valley” because of its deep gullies, rolling hills, and geological formations.

The Scotland District (The Valley)

This is the dominant feature in the view:

A vast, undulating landscape of green hills, deep gullies, and exposed clay slopes. Barbados’ most geologically unique region, formed from sedimentary rock uplift.
